Today was a day filled with lots of upgrades. I was just planning on getting a monitor, but one thing led to another and I ended up getting an Apple wireless keyboard, a wireless mouse, and some wood to build a station on my desk. It was fun! I got a great deal on the 24″ Samsung’s 2494HM from Costco ($200!) and it looks great hooked up to my macbook. I finally have a usable workspace now.
Today was also the release of Snow Leopard which I bought. I did a fresh install on my HD and so far its running like a dream machine. The new QuickTime is slick…
Nice setup. Fresh installs are the only way to go. I have the same keyboard and laptop stand too. I also went with the Bluetooth Apple Mighty Mouse and I hate it.
Thanks man, I’m really digging that bluetooth keyboard a lot. It’s a real pleasure to use. I was thinking of getting the bluetooth mouse too but I use a wired one at work and it really bugs out on me a lot. I got a usb wireless one from costco and its smooth. I still sort of wish I could use a trackpad for some things though…
The bluetooth Mighty Mouse isn’t worth it. The right click is tricky because it’s not a separate button and the scroll ball gets dirty and jams a lot. The keyboard is definitely awesome.
